A Convivial State?

The world as we know today is a fast paced and an unforgiving entity of change in its day to day transitions of growth and development. Given the conditions of one of the global situations, the refugees seeking asylum is among the trivial problems of the growing world.

A Refugee by definition(UN convention,1951), is someone who is unable or unwilling to return to their country of origin owing to a well-founded fear of being persecuted for reasons of race, religion, nationality, membership of a particular social group, or political opinion.

What are the reasons behind people becoming refugees?

Seeking refuge in a different state/place is not an easy task. Also the people(refugees) involved require immediate shelter and healthcare facilities as they fall under the affected group after being an part of many gruesome experiences. Not only do they risk their lives during their escape but the choice of fleeing from their own land, most importantly their choices along the way always involve having to put their lives at risk until they find shore.
Many countries, including the UK and the countries of the European Economic Area provide refuge to these new home seekers on a humanitarian stand point. Yet not everyone gets access to the privileges first hand, due to the policies and the regulations of crossing the border illegally. Their situation remains unknown even after reaching the shore for a long period before they can become a part of something new. And not to forget the present pandemic conditions only adds to the problems they already have.

A convivial state is an idea, speaking of a place which is based on helping these refugees to recoup necessary strengths in order make better choices for their journey ahead. Brutally put, it is important to keep in mind that the limitations exist even after reaching a certain place and their entire process of finding home is completely uncertain.
